Movie Review: The Hunger Games
6:34 PM - Thursday, March 22, 2012
It was epic.
The movie shows a lot of violence. (But it's safe for kids & teens to watch)
It was awesome only from like 1 quater of the movie till the end.
The first part was kinda boring.
But still awesome.
It shows what a sister to do to save her younger sibling from danger/harm.
So touching.
I don't understand how did Suzanne Collins made this story!
It's the most awesome book adaptation movie since Harry Potter! [Twilight still sucks (both literally and metaphorically)].
Even if the plot was quite boring at first.
How is this one of the most anticipated movie of 2012?
Now, I know
It shows how the contestants from different districts grow to become a fighter especially Katniss & Peeta.
Even as the plot thickens.
There is still a place to show a bit of romance.
The actors wasn't that bad.
Fine, they're awesome.
You could see the emotion in their faces when somebody dies.
I also can't see why such idiots would create The Hunger Games.
It's totally inhumane.
But, it also shows how inhumane humans can be.
Here's the thing.
There's 3 books in the series.
Where's the other two?!
I can't wait for the sequel!
I would recommend this movie for both people who have read the books and also people who haven't.
But not so much for the guys though.
You'd be bored halfway through the movie.
But, still awesome!
MY RATING!
****.5*
Movie Review: Dr. Seuss' The Lorax 3D
10:42 PM - Thursday, March 15, 2012
I find the movie quite entertaining.
I actually put my hopes a bit high after I knew that it's a movie from Universal Pictures.
It's the same one that created "Despicable Me".
I was a bit of a let down though.
The plot was very interesting.
I liked the way they interact both the present & past of the movie.
And also the environmental message in the movie.
The 3D effects wasn't that interesting.
I'm not sure if its the 3D glasses or the movie.
The characters are very humorous
It was funny (doh) throughout the movie.
And also the (I think) useless musical numbers.
In conclusion,
I loved the message that Dr. Seuss' (R.I.P) tried to tell in the story.
Given the fact that we're kinda living in a world where trees are being chopped down.
It was a good idea to release this movie.
A must watch for kids.
Not so for the teens and adults though.
MY RATING!
***.5**
Movie Review: John Carter 3D
10:40 PM - Saturday, March 10, 2012
The movie was amazing.
Besides some flaws.
I enjoyed the movie from the first.
But, I was kinda confused with the plot.
In the beginning, I was thrown here & there.
I couldn't understand sh*t.
But, luckily after that, I was just fine.
The plot was also too long.
It was nice at first, but there were also boring parts through out the movie.
The effects was ok.
Nothing to wow about it.
But, ok.
One more thing, who comes up with these names?
There's a place called Helium, earth is known as Jarsoom and Mars is known as Barsoom.
What's with the names?
It's not cool.
It's just plain weird.
I find the movie amazingly-lame.
It just goes medium for me.
It's not good-not bad.
Something you might wanna watch.
MY RATING!
